The Embassy participated in the culture week at Erudito Licejus, a modern international school in Vilnius, known for its innovative learning environment and multicultural outlook, on Tuesday, 12th May 2026, as part of its ongoing commitment to promoting Nigerian heritage and strengthening cultural understanding among young learners in Lithuania.
Through a vibrant mix of digital presentations, interactive demonstrations and hands‑on cultural experiences, the Embassy’s representatives introduced students to the richness and diversity of Nigeria’s traditions.
The visit featured engaging moments such as dressing students in colourful Nigerian attire, exploring traditional musical instruments, including the iconic talking drum, gangan and guiding them in creating its unique rhythmic language. Students also enjoyed lively quizzes, learned to play the traditional game ayo, and participated in a tasting session that offered a flavourful glimpse into Nigerian snacks and cuisine.
